Isao Arimoto,
Director
Mr. Arimoto is a
co-founder of our company and has served as a director since
our company's inception. He is currently Chief Executive
Officer of Okayama-based Chugoko-Knit Co. Mr. Arimoto has over
35 years of business experience as an entrepreneur. He has
extensive business relationships in both Japan and China.
Anthony Cheung,
Director
Mr. Cheung's early
career was in Finance, Accounting and Auditing with John B P
Byrne & Co., now Grant Thornton in Hong Kong. This formed
the foundation of a successful business management and
investment career of over 25 years that now includes:
ownership of manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong and China
(Dongguan) with in excess of 10,000 employees producing over
200 million consumer products annually; ownership of a Class 2
hospital in China (Fujian); and (commercial) real estate
investments and developments in Hong Kong, China and the
United States.
Shyh-Jing (Philip)
Chiang, Director
Mr. Chiang is one
of our co-founders. Since June 2004, Mr. Chiang has served as
head of investment banking at Nomura Securities in Taipei,
Taiwan. From March 2004 to May 2004, he served as chief
representative of Rabobank's office in Taipei. From June 2001
to May 2004, he was director of investment banking at ING
Baring in Taipei. Mr. Chiang served as executive vice
president of Grand Cathay Securities from August 2000 to June
2001. From September 1996 to April 2000, he served as vice
president of Credit Agricole Indosuez. Mr. Chiang received a
B.A. from Tunghai University in Taiwan and an M.B.A. from the
University of Missouri.
Toshihiro
Komoike, Director
Mr. Komoike has 30
years of management experience. He was a senior manager at
Sumisho Textile Co. in Japan, one of Japan 's leading textile
companies. Before joining Sumisho, he was manager at Shinko
Trading Company for over 10 years. He is a graduate of Kansai
University with commerce major.
Chuen Huei
(Kevin) Lee, CFA, FRM,
Consultant
Mr. Lee, CFA, FRM,
is a former vice president of a venture capital investment
& consulting firm. He specializes in corporate finance,
international business management /business development,
venture investment and financial management. He has ten years
of experience in the financial industry/banking and
international business management field. He worked for
American Express Bank and Grand Cathy Securities Corporation,
one of Taiwan 's leading investment banking firms, before
joining the venture capital firm in Beijing, China. Mr. Lee
graduated from Columbia University with an MBA degree and from
Taiwan University with a BA degree in Business Administration.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Financial Risk
Manager.
Liang Qiao, MD,
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Qiao has over
20 years of medical research experience in the field of
immunology at several leading universities with an emphasis on
mucosal tolerance, immunity and vaccine development. He is a
co-inventor of the technology on which our company's vaccines
are based on. He is also a tenured Professor at the Stritch
School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. His research
projects at Loyola University Chicago have also been funded by
National Institutes of Health, American Cancer Society, Cancer
Research Institute, and Illinois Department of Health. Dr.
Qiao received his M.D. from Lausanne University in Switzerland
in 1992. He also worked as a Research Scholar at German Cancer
Research Center. Dr. Qiao also serves as a reviewer for
numerous worldwide scientific journals and funding agencies.
In March 2008, he received a $1.8 million award from the NIH
for a five-year research project to develop a novel oral HIV
vaccine through collaborations with research groups from
University of Illinois at Chicago and Rush
University.
Wenhui Qiao,
Director
Mr. Qiao has
extensive business experience in China and Japan. He also
maintains an active working relationship with both the Chinese
and Japanese business and political societies. In 2002, he
co-founded our wholly owned subsidiary, Bio-Bridge Science
(Beijing) Corp., and served as General Manager. From 1999 to
2001, he was the CEO of Dongfang Huaying Anti-Radiation
Company, to commercialize an environmental protection
technology. Mr. Qiao graduated from Doshisha University in
Japan with a BA degree in economics.
Trevor Roy,
Director
Mr. Roy was a
graduate of the University of Sydney. His initial career was
in Education where he was a teacher and administrator at both
High School and Tertiary levels. Then in a business career
spanning 30 years, Mr. Roy, with his investment and management
experience, both in his home country of Australia and
internationally, has been in a wide range of industries
including Rural/agricultural, Theatrical, Marketing and
Promotions, Food manufacturing and distribution, Medical, and
Telephony and communications. For the past 18 years, Mr. Roy
has been CEO (now Chairman) of the Creata Group of Companies.
He has been instrumental in establishing its business as a
global provider of marketing and promotional programs in 18
offices in 12
countries. |
