Bio-Bridge Science, Inc.'s subsidiary, Bio-Bridge Xinheng Baide Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Bio-Bridge XHBD) is located in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia, China. Its primary operations are to manufacture and distribute bovine serum products. Bovine serum is used in scientific research, the production of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and veterinary medicines.

Bovine serum often is needed for the manufacture or development of vaccines, especially viral vaccines. Most viral vaccines in general terms are made by growing the virus in cells, then inactivating the virus, and finally using the inactivated virus as a vaccine. The cells used for growing the virus in this process require cell culture medium and often, bovine serum, which contains complex components for cell growth.

Bio-Bridge XHBD’ has a satellite facility in Northern China near Harbin to collect raw materials for bovine serum production.
